Geoff Maddox received his B.A. in Psychology at University of Missouri – Columbia (2007). He then completed his M.A. and Ph.D. at Washington University in St. Louis (2013) with an emphasis in Cognitive Psychology as well as Aging and Development. At Rhodes College he has taught courses in the Psychology Department (Introduction to Psychological Science, Research Methods and Statistics, Advanced Methods: Randomized Experiments, and Senior Seminar: Metacognition) and the Education program (Education Technology). Dr. Maddox’s research attempts to better understand the underlying mechanisms and cognitive processes that contribute to successful acquisition, storage and retrieval of information from episodic memory in young and older adults.
